R/C Flying Model Ornithopter Equipment Requirements

• Micro radio receiver:  such as MPI MX6800, Hitec Featherlite, Hitec Electron  or JR610 or similar

• 2 Micro servos: Recommended (1) Hitec HS-81MG for elevator and (1) Hitec HS-81MG for the rudder.

  Note: Rudder must have metal gear servo!

• Battery:

  8 cell 720 Mah NIMH AAA required or 3 cell 1100MaH Li-ion or Li-Poly

• Electronic speed controller   

  8-10 Amp minimum ESC, 15 Amp works best such as Great Planes Electrifly C-10 Micro ESC or MPI MX9208
