Phobetor in History
The Russian paleontologist Natalia Bakhurina
from the Moscow Institute of Paleontology researched on skeleton remains of a small
Dsungariptic pterosaur from western Mongolia in 1982. It was called
Phobetor.
These fossils found under the cretaceous layers were not complete. Parts
of the flightarms, flight fingers and the legs were discovered later by
skull parts with toothless jaws and a large bony crest on the back of the
skull. The alveoles in the middle of the jaw displayed the remains of
teeth which differentiantes this pterosaur from the larger Dsungaripterus.
Our model requires metal geared servos and a high rate gyro Controlling the
head movement.
